Yes, we have announced the winners for the year 2007! Part of the hope of the S.E.T. Educational Fund is to over time create a community which keeps track of future and past winners and helps with funding, job opportunities and encouragement. Good luck to our winners, and even better luck to our applicants for next year!

YEAR 2007

Rheamonique Grier

I believe to change one life is like changing a community. Changing a community can and will impact our world. To help someone other then myself, is my overall passion in life. I love to see others succeed and benefit. I really have a heart for people that feel as though life has let them down. I want to be the person that helps there miracle come true. I have been so blessed and I want to pass some of my blessings to others that are unfortunate. I believe that giving should come from the heart and I know that in order to be fulfilled, I have to do what my hurt desires. Give back to help others and volunteer my time to make it happen. S.E.T. Educational Fund thank you for your generous donation, the donors really do impact the lives of others. I'm just so happy that now I have help, so that I can receive knowledge to continue to learn how I can help others in the future. Again thank you S.E.T. Educational Fund for making this happen.

Angela Marocco

Angela is a Elementary Education major at Michigan State (oof!), and despite losing the household income of her father due to a stroke, has found a way to finance her first two years. Her laundry list of community service landed her in the runner-up position for the second straight year. "As a teacher I will strive to inspire children to be honorable and caring citizens; through their generation, I will ultimately help to positively shape our future."
