FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. HOW DO I APPLY?

Go to the Requirements page, read & fulfill all the requirements and send the application to the address above.
2. SHOULD THE RECOMMENDATION LETTER BE SENT SEPARATELY?
No. We actually prefer them to be sent together so letter and application may be matched easily.
3. IF I AM PROVIDING A TRANSCRIPT, DO I NEED TO SEND AN OFFICIAL COPY?
No. A regular Xerox copy of the transcript will be sufficient as long as the university name is visible.
4. WHAT IF I AM A GRADUATE STUDENT?

Unfortunately, the scholarship is only for undergraduates.

5. WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE?
We prefer the license, but will accept a passport along with proof of residence in its place.
6. WHAT IF MY PARENTS (OR I) HAVEN'T FILED A 1040 FOR LAST YEAR YET?

Please wait until the 1040 is available and submit them together.

7. WHAT IF MY APPLICATION ARRIVES JUST AFTER THE DEADLINE?

It will be eligible for next year's scholarship (as long as another year of undergraduate education is planned).

8. WHAT CONSTITUTES "NEED"?

Unfortunately, the answer to that question is relative to other applications. We base need upon several different factors and need only accounts for a portion of the overall equation. If you feel you have an otherwise strong application, don't withhold your submission based upon moderately high parental income.
