Welcome!The S.E.T. Educational Fund, established in 1998, creates the opportunity for an underprivileged family to rebuild its educational foundation by aiding the aspiring student. By positively reinforcing charitable involvement and academic initiative, the S.E.T. Fund strives to improve our community and collect persons willing to further philanthropic assistance to the Fund, the participants, and the community. All benefits and requirements listed below are administered by the executor of the Fund and, therein, are subject to change dependent upon the fiscal capability of the Fund.
BENEFITS:
Scholarship Check -- The winner each year of the S.E.T. Educational Fund Award will receive approximately 5% of the accumulated liquid assets; for the year 2010 this amounts to $4000.00. These funds will be directly deposited into the student's account at the university he/she will be attending in the Fall.
Visibility to Visitors -- The winner will also have his/her name, picture, and desired information published on this web page in hopes of possible future employment.

These past three years have been very tough economically for my father and me. I currently work three jobs -- an average of 84 hours per week -- to help pay the rent, save for college, and pay some of my father's medical fees (he is currently uninsured). Yet during these challenging times, I have witnessed the miracle of a loving and supportive family. That is why it is my goal to become successful, so in the future my two nephews will not have to worry about financing their post high-school education. This scholarship will place me one step closer to achieving that goal. Thank you Alex Chouinard
